Hello! We’re Errin and Grace, and together with our amazing sons, we founded Lazarus Bakes. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community as a family through something we genuinely love.

Lazarus Bakes is the first business launched under our 3 Folds platform. Our mission is simple: create exceptional artisan baked goods, keep them as affordable as possible, and use our business to make a positive impact. We are a generous house, we share with individuals and families in need.

We’re passionate about bringing people together through food. By incorporating naturally fermented sourdough into many of our baked goods, we create products with incredible flavor that are also easier to digest.

Above all, our family is committed to serving our community and pointing people to Jesus through hospitality, generosity, and love. Thank you for supporting Lazarus Bakes and being part of our story.

  • Lazarus—is our sourdough starter! Every loaf of bread and all of our baked goods begin with this starter.

    The name is a playful nod to the biblical account of Lazarus, whom Jesus raised from the dead. Just as the biblical Lazarus came back to life, our starter “comes to life” with each feeding before becoming the levain that helps our dough rise. We couldn’t resist the tongue-in-cheek connection, and the name has stuck ever since.

  • At Lazarus Bakes, we’re committed to providing the freshest, highest-quality baked goods possible. Because our sourdough is naturally fermented and made in small batches, we encourage customers to place pre-orders whenever possible.

    Pre-ordering allows us to carefully plan each bake, prepare your order specifically for you, reduce food waste, and keep our prices affordable. Most importantly, it gives our dough the time it needs to develop the flavor, texture, and quality that make artisan sourdough so special.

  • Lazarus Bakes is proudly based in East Dallas, just a few minutes from the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden. We offer porch pick-up locally and proudly serve customers throughout the DFW Metroplex.

  • Your safety is important to us. While we take every reasonable precaution to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that our products are free from allergens.

    All baked goods are prepared in a home-based kitchen using shared equipment that processes common allergens, including wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, and tree nuts.

    Because of this shared environment, our products are not certified allergen-free. Customers with food allergies or sensitivities should use their discretion before consuming our products and are responsible for informing anyone they serve of potential allergen risks.

    Please note that our cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies, breads, and pastries contain or may contain wheat, eggs, and dairy.

  • We proudly serve customers throughout the DFW Metroplex! Delivery is available for most locations; however, delivery fees may apply and availability depends on our baking and delivery schedule. We’ll do our best to accommodate your order whenever possible.

  • Texas Cottage Food Notice

    In accordance with Texas Cottage Food Law, Lazarus Bakes is only permitted to sell and deliver products within the state of Texas. At this time, we are unable to ship or fulfill orders outside of Texas.
